havnt played skyrim but i know its under the x-mas tree. dark souls is fun but it lacks some materil to keep u enterned/hooked while playing, nice graphics and playing style. i think skyrim might be better gota wait tell the 25th thought to play

I want them both, but if I had to choose between them, I'd pick Skyrim because I know I'd have more fun with it than Dark Souls.

I usually like RPG's but I've never been a big fan of The Elder Scrolls, I never really got into it.
But the freaking Skyrim trailer gives me goosebumps and I can't get the melody out of my head as soon as I think about it

Anyway, definitely Skyrim for me.

I would say skyrim but bethesda this year have just been out of it with brink and then rage on the pc so not sure

In regards to Rage, it's not Bethesda's fault it doesnt really work correctly yet. It is more the video card drivers that are at fault right now. All the drivers as of now are specifically set up for Battlefield 3 and not much else.

BTW they say dark souls is not for fun play, more for pro play.
if you don't like dying alot. DONT BUY THE GAME :D

While I like Dark Souls, Skyrim is probably going to be more enjoyable.

I don't like either, i thought both demon souls and oblivion were crap, they may be good story wise but the action is so slow and clunky.

Rage and Brink were only published by Bethesda, not developed.

As for my vote, Skyrim. Bethesda always does a good job with the series, and the game is supposed to be better than Oblivion by leaps and bounds. PC version is always better than the Xbox version because of the available mods, even though this time around it was developed first on the 360, then ported over to PC.

I won't say I'm unbiased though, I haven't paid any attention to Demon's Souls or Dark Souls because I don't have a PS3 to play them on.
