"... Samurai DK started off fast and furious, plot after plot, it was mindblowing. But just as it seems the plot advancement will never end, it takes the chance to give you a bit more insight into a few character's history which some people may find boring. I, on the other hand, never tire of learning new facts about characters that I like. I'd love to see more Saizo gags since he's a rare comic relief character appearing only to break the tension in the atmosphere at certain times.
All your patience for plowing through the first 20 episodes is rewarded at the end where all the mysteries gathered along the way is explained and revealed in huge quantities. Kyoshiro and Kyo's coincidentally similar names is explained, Yuya's quest for revenge comes to a conclusion and everything else gets tied off. No 'never-ending-cliff-hanger' like Elfen Lied's ending. Patience is a virtue and it rings so true in Samurai Deeper Kyo."
