Synopsis
One Piece is a manga and anime series created by mangaka Eiichiro Oda. One Piece focuses on a ragtag crew of pirates called Straw Hat Pirates led by Captain Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy's greatest ambition is to obtain the world's ultimate treasure, One Piece, and become Pirate King. (Wikipedia)

Member Review
Weather you like comedy, action and cool fights or just adventure. This anime has got everything.

The anime focuses on Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew which travel the world seas chasing their dreams and to conquer the legendary sea, Grand line.

As they travel, the crew shows off with new moves and constantly improves.

The only downpart in my opinion is that the fights can go on for like 4-5 episodes.

One piece was my first anime which got me into anime.

Definately worth watching!

Characters
Monkey D. Luffy
The main character in One Piece. He is brave and comes from Fuschia Town. In his childhood Luffy ate a "Devil Fruit" that gives him the ability to stretch his body like rubber. When he was a boy he met a pirate named Shanks, who gave him his favorite straw hat and told him to return it to him after he became a great pirate. He aims to become the pirate king.


Roronoa Zoro
Zoro is a skilled swordsman, able to use three sword technique Santoryu (literally: three sword style). His goal is to become the greatest swordsman in the world by beating the current greatest swordsman, Hawkeye Mihawk.


Nami
She is an excellent navigator. Her two favorite things are money and tangerines, because of her love of her foster mother, Bellemere. Nami's dream is to draw a perfect map of the world, a task not yet accomplished by anyone due to the harsh nature of the oceans in the Grand Line.


Usopp
A professional liar of sorts, and an expert shot. Usopp's dream is to become a brave warrior of the sea, like his father Yasopp of the Red Haired Pirate Crew. Usopp is easily scared and always makes up excuses to avoid going on dangerous outings.Despite his timid nature, he will do anything to help his friends, even if it means standing up to a far more powerful enemy.


Sanji
Sanji is the Straw Hat crew's chain-smoking chef, whose dream is to find 'All Blue', a legendary ocean which contains all the fish in the world. He takes great pride in the meals he makes and considers them works of art. Sanji is also a very skilled fighter, who uses only his legs. Sanji states that this is because a chef's hands are his prized possession, and should not be risked in battle.


Tony Tony Chopper
Chopper grew up on the winter island Drum, where he was an outcast among reindeer due to his blue nose. He ate the Hito Hito Devil Fruit (Human Human Fruit), giving him the ability to speak, think, and transform into a human. As the doctor of the crew, Chopper has impressive knowledge of medicine and medical drugs.Most of this he learned during his apprenticeship under Dr. Hiruluk and Dr. Kureha.


Nico Robin
Nico Robin is an archaeologist and historian, and possibly the only person in the current One Piece era who can read the fictional Poneglyph language. Her dream is to find and decipher the Rio Poneglyph, which is believed to lie at the end of the Grand Line on the island of Raftel. Robin ate the Hana Hana Devil Fruit, which, allowing her to create copies of her body parts (arms). pervs :P


Frankie
Franky is a cyborg and joins the Straw Hat crew as their shipwright. Also the creator of the pirate's second ship Thousand Sunny. He is currently sailing with the crew to completely fulfill his dream, of seeing the ship he created sail to the end of Grand Line.



Brook
Brook, a skeleton, was found by Staw Hat crew in the Florian Triangle. He ate the Yomi Yomi Devil Fruit, giving immortality. His goal is to circle the Grand Line and return to Reverse Mountain, reuniting with the whale, Laboon, and fulfilling the promise the Rumba Pirates made.
