Synopsis
Honda Shigeharu is a Major League batter on the rise. His son Goro is a Little League pitcher who one day hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. Hoshino Momoko is Goro's schoolteacher, and the first woman Shigeharu has been interested in since the death of Goro's mother.The destinies of these three individuals will become intertwined as father and son experience both heartbreak and triumph on the baseball diamond. But when an unspeakable tragedy visits the family, it will take everything they have to pick up the pieces and reclaim their dreams.

This is a great anime! Wether you're into sportsanime or not it's still a great series to watch. Whis is definetly on my top 10 list.

Characters
Honda Goro
The son of the Professional Baseball Player, Honda Shigeharu. He strives to the same stage as his father, and this series tell the tale of his Little League adventures.
Position: Pitcher


Honda Shigeharu
A Professional Baseball Player, Goro's father. After a serious injury to his elbow, he becomes a batter to keep his baseball carrier going for his son.


Hoshino Momoko
Goro's kindergarten teacher. She falls in love with Shigeharu and they start dating. She later becomes a vital part of Goro's family.


Shigeno Hideki
Another Professional Baseball Player and a good friend of Shigeharu's. He takes a great part in the upbringing of Goro.


Komori Daisuke
A classmate of Goro's who was bullied. After Goro got involved the bullies stopped and Komori's true talent got to shine.

Shimizu Kaoru
A classmate of Goro's. She starts playing baseball with Goro with some bickering but loves the sport.

Sawamura Ryouta
One of the bullies who bullied Komori. After Goro got involved he started regretting it and joins the baseball team to try pay for what he's done.

The coach of the Mifune Dolphins. He also runs a sports store.

Toshi's parents don't want him to have any hobbies and only study. Toshi later becomes Goro's rival, playing baseball with the strongest Little League team, Yokohama Little.

A girl pitcher for Yokohama Little. When Mifune and Yokohama are in the same training camp they meet and become friends.
