Hand Maid May
SynopsisSaotome Kazuya is a computer whiz. One day his friend Nanbara, threatens him with a computer virus. Trying to stop the virus, Kazuya ends up making a special order. May is a cyberdoll that arrives at his door a few minutes later and she is 1/6th the size of a normal person, which makes for many awkward situations. Not to mention the fact Kazuya can't even afford to keep May. Cyberdyne is not satisfied with Kazuya's non-payments and will do anything to retrieve CBD May.

Hand Maid May has elements of "ecchi," but all it mostly is is just simply panty shots and not much else. Sometimes this is applied to the humor of the show, and the main character, Saotome Kazuya, is the butt of all perverted jokes.
That being said, the story is good for this kind of anime. Not the best story ever, but the story was surprisingly flexible and allowed a lot of humor to come out of it. The characters are all very unique and likable, and each has his/her role in the series. The music is very nice and relaxing and fits the mood of the scene very nicely. For an old anime, the animation is very nice, especially all the intricate computer scenes. My only gripe about the show is that being only 11 episodes long, there are 2 episodes where all of the story is squeezed in to make the show sort of a drama at those episodes. However, a comedy like Hand Maid May feels old after so many episodes.
Hand Maid May is filled with lots of good laughs and each episode feels longer than 25 minutes of your life, however the series is unfortunately very short. A perfect 10/10 from me, because this show has its own special charm that simply captivates you into watching more.

Kazuya is an electrical engineering student with a passion for building his robot squid which he calls Ikariya and implenting an A.I. (artificial intelligence) system into it. He's a bit absent-minded and is clueless when it comes to girls. However it is later revealed that in the future, his work with Ikariya will eventually become the basis for the Maid Program.
