Synopsis
Armed with a metal sash that straightens into a sword, lanky swordsman Van is traveling through the desert, searching for the mysterious clawed man who killed his bride. He is joined by several other travelers along the way, each linked to the clawed man by a personal loss.

i liked this anime a lot at first i thought it was gunna be a tad depressing but it was ok. Was really annoyed about the ending i mean there was sooo much growth between him and pricilla in the last few eps and then for it to end like it did rlly pissed me off the only way to improve this anime would be to add a bit more love/romance to it so overall it gets a 8.5/10 from me

Characters
Van
A tall, lanky wanderer of few words clad in a dark swallowtail suit. His speech is slow, laconic, and unhurried; but when hearing news referring to the clawed man, his disposition shifts to extreme anger. He acquires many titles throughout his travels.


Wendy Garret
Wendy is Van's first travelling companion and joins him to find her brother Michael Garret who had been kidnapped by the Claw. Wendy is kind, compassionate, and determined and often wishes to assist those in need of help that they meet during their travel, in contrast to Van's policy of leaving everybody to him/herself.


Carmen 99
Carmen 99 (real name, Carol Mendosa) is a bright and self-sufficient intelligence agent/mercenary who Van and Wendy encounter in the second episode of the anime, although Van apparently has met her before. The nickname 'Carmen 99', comes both from her bust measurement (99 cm) and the number of hidden accessories she always carries. She is often looking for more ways to earn money.
