Synopsis
After millennia in hiding, Mina Tepes, the Princess of the ancient covenant and ruler of all vampires, wants change. Using the vast wealth of the Tepes line, she has paid off the entire gross national debt of Japan and in so doing, gained the authority to create a "special district" off the coast of Japan that is to become the future haven to vampires the world over!

The first episode does not represent all of them. The style of this series is represented in the second episode. Lots of the episodes have already been released. I would give this a 9.5/10... Kinda darker anime, but its a good change in pace.

Tepes Mina
The ruler of all vampires, Mina Tepes first met Akira when he was a child. As a vampire, Mina never ages, and as such her body is usually that of a prepubescent girl. She appears at first very haughty and self-indulging, but is in truth very protective of her fellow vampires that she rules over. She will do almost anything to protect their future, even if it means risking her own life.
