Synopsis
It's Yui Hirasawa's first year in high school, and she's eagerly searching for a club to join. At the same time, Ritsu Tainaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bass player, are desperately trying to save the school's light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again. Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy...

one of my FAVORITE ANIMES OF ALL TIME. This is such a great anime that just inspires even those who's never played an instrument to give it a shot - heck, to give any challenge in life a shot! An excellent shoujo that I'm sure guys will find cute as well (if only my boyfriend took the time -_- ).

Definite 10/10!!!

Characters
Yui Hirasawa
She is one of the members of the light music club, and plays a Honey Burst Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar. She does not get good grades in school. Her surname is taken from P-Model guitarist Susumu Hirasawa.


Mio Akiyama
Mio is a shy girl in the light music club, she originally intended to join the literary club, but was forced into the light music club by her childhood friend Ritsu. She gets excellent grades in school, and is bad with listening to stories involving painful experiences. Her surname is taken from former P-Model bassist and keyboardist Katsuhiko Akiyama.


Ritsu Tainaka
Ritsu is president of the light music club and plays a Yamaha Hipgig Drumset. She has an ambiguous personality, and often has trouble with forgetting about important club activities and announcements.Her surname is taken from former P-Model drummer Sadatoshi Tainaka.


Tsumugi Kotobuki
Tsumugi is a wealthy girl with a gentle personality who plays a Korg Triton Extreme 88 Key keyboard in the light music club. She originally intended to join the chorus club, but joined the light music club after receiving an invitation and encouragement from Mio and Ritsu. Her surname is taken from former P-Model keyboardist Hikaru Kotobuki.
