Former pro boxer Gondo Tetta has come to Kaki-no-ki-zaka High School as a beginning teacher. The school hopes to restore finances by improving the students’ abilities and strengthening its baseball team. Tetta goes head-to-head with his class full of failing students who have no ability whatsoever in sports and studies. Everyday, he passionately encourages his students who have no drive at all. Aside from his ambition to be a teacher, he has many experiences in other job fields that he ever done. One day he accepted an invitation from a school that he didn't apply to, which is Kaki no ki zaka high school, in that school he needs to handle a troublesome class and becomes their homeroom teacher. He tries to make his students believe their teacher by trying to helps his students every times they have troubles.
	Inoue Waka	Tsujido Komaki	Kaki-no-ki-zaka High School's chairman. She is the new chairman of the school which is previously possessed by her father who demanded Gondo Tetta to teach there. At the beginning she rejects Gondo Tetta because of his bad record of making people injured. However, unintentionally she has to talks a lot of school problems to Gondo Tetta since almost of those problems are caused by his students.
	Tegoshi Yuya	Utsugi Minoru	A former swimmer who got depressed because of an injured that destroyed his swimming dream. School doesn't give attention to him anymore since he lost his ability. He becomes delinquent to look for school attention. He involves in a gang that creates a lot of troubles for the school.
	Masuda Takahisa	Inoue Kouta	His father wants him to be the successor of their family clinique, but his bad grades disapoint his father and cause his younger brother brings that burden. He has several close frinds from his classmate and always spends times together with them, recently they get close with Utsugi Minoru after Utsugi saved Kouta. He always likes Kana since middle school, and has chances to get closer since they becomes classmate at high school. But one day he realizes that he is not the person in Kana's heart.
	Kurokawa Tomoka	Morimoto Kana	A childhood friend of Utsugi Minoru. She has a crush on Minoru since she knows him, but never has a courage to tell him. She is a popular girl at her school with pretty face and good grade. However, Kana has a bad memory of an incident that happened when she was at middle school, and it was caused by her former homeroom teacher. This incident made her hate and distrust teacher.
